On October 15 and 16, YARA members assisted in annual the scout Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), at the Yukon Research Forest site. There were 6 scouts and 6 scouters. The program included: setting up short wave antennas, a workshop on how to use walkie-talkies (FRS radios), a foxhunt, use of the YARA Repeater, and making long distance contacts on short wave.
